Eight Months Old
The girls turned eight months old a couple of days ago. They are both crawling now and it is a lot of fun to watch them cruise around on the floor. Chloe sat up on her own today for the first time and she can also stand up while holding on to something (though she will eventually let go and fall down). Claire is a master crawler and is getting faster every day. She will follow you all around the house if you let her. We have tried giving them cheerios a few times, but they aren't digging them too much yet.
Cruisin' For A Bruisin'
Somehow Chloe got a bruise on her left cheek. My guess is that Claire clocked her during one of their many wrestling matches. I'm sure it is just the first of many bruises to come.
Chloe the talker!
From the minute she wakes up until sleep time, Chloe is babbling away. She "talks" non-stop. It is scary when it sounds like an actual word coming out of her mouth. I predict she is going to be a lot like mommy!
She loves to wake up in the middle of the night and just have a conversation. She is the only one talking because I refuse to talk back, she needs to sleep through the night, then we will talk :-)!
Claire the crawler!
Claire was doing the army crawl last week now she can really move. She was playing with Chloe on the floor in the living room when she decided she need to see what mom was doing in the kitchen. Next thing I know there is Claire, on the tile, half way to the fridge! She just looked up at me like, "Hi Mom, What Doin?" It was really cute.
No pictures because I can not figure out how to work Daddy's camera with the ginormous flash that weighs a million pounds.
P.S If you need someone to do a photoshoot at your house, call Paul, he is your man!
More Claire
Had to work late tonight, so no time for any photo shoots. I'll have to grab some of Chloe next, but for now here is another one of Claire from yesterday.
Claire's Three Teeth
Check out Claire's three teeth. They are all lined up in front on the bottom. Chloe has two in the same exact spot. I'll have to get a picture of them next.
Down With The Sickness
First Chloe got it, then Jamie's Dad, then Claire and now Jamie and I have it. It feels like a cross between the bird flu and SARS, but without going to the doctor I can't be sure. Either way we are a pretty pitiful bunch around here lately. Will post more after recovery.
P.S. Airborne doesn't work.
